Notice: Proper stoplamp switch adjustment is essential. Improper stoplamp switch adjustment may cause brake drag, heat buildup and excessive brake lining wear.

Important: Adjust the stoplamp switch and the cruise control switch at the same time. The adjustment procedures for both switches are identical.

With the brake pedal in the fully released position, ensure that the stoplamp plunger is fully depressed against the brake pedal shanks.
