Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 182751  Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the screws retaining the radio control to the IP.
  3. Begin to remove the radio control from the IP enough to access the connectors at the rear of the radio control.

  5. Disconnect the electrical/audio and the coaxial cable connectors from the radio control.
  6. Remove the radio control.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical/audio and the coaxial cable connectors to the radio control.

  2. Object Number: 182751  Size: SH
  3. Install the radio control into position in the instrument panel (IP).
  4. Align the radio control locator tab to the IP locator hole while carefully pressing the radio control into the IP until fully seated.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the radio control retaining screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the radio control retaining screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
