Installation

    Object Number: 153081 Size: SH
  1. Install the hub and the bearing (3) to the rear knuckle with four bolts (1). Be careful not to drop the hub and the bearing, as it could cause damage.
  2. Reconnect the ABS sensor.
  3. Tighten
Tighten the hub and the bearing bolts to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the brake drum (2). Refer to Brake Drum Replacement in Drum Brakes.
  5. Install the wheel and the tire.
  6. Tighten
Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 N·m (100 lb ft).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
