Claims submitted using labor operation number T4076 on vehicles involved in Catalytic Converter Campaign 82-E-03, 83-E-02, or 83-E-03 will reject as Code 41 (Labor Operation Missing/Incorrect or Not on File). The vehicle identification number should be checked against the CRIS file for the appropriate Catalytic Converter Campaign. If the campaign is open, the claim must be submitted using the appropriate labor operation number published in the Emission Campaign Bulletin. Should the replacement converter become restricted after the Catalytic Converter Campaign has been performed, the claim should be considered a replacement parts warranty claim and be submitted with a claim type "B" with the appropriate campaign labor operation number. Zone authorization is not required.

Claims submitted using operation L2300 (Catalytic Converter-Replace) on vehicles which were included in Campaigns 82-E-03, 83-E-02, and 83-E-03 will reject as Code 61 (Labor Operation Requires Authorization). The vehicle identification number should be checked against the CRIS file for the appropriate converter campaign. If the campaign is open, the claim must be submitted using the appropriate campaign labor operation number published in the Emission Campaign Bulletin.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
