THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES DEALER TECHNICAL BULLETIN 90-T-09, DATED
Condition: Owners of some 1990 Cutlass Supreme Sedan Models (see models affected) may comment on a white powder type substance on the rubber seal of the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL).
Cause: The substance is a bleed-out of sulphur used in the processing of the rubber.
Correction: Replace the shield and seal assembly with a new one. New part numbers are listed below:
10168324 - 3WM69 - 201 - Very Dark Sapphire 10168325 - 3WM69 - 661 - Med. Beechwood/Dk. Sienna 10168326 - 3WM69 - 781 - Garnet Red 10168327 - 3WM69 - 151 - Med. Slate Gray/Dk. Slate Gray
