REVISED TORQUE VALVES FOR FUEL LINE NUTS AT TBI UNIT

MODELS/YEARS 1989 CUTLASS CIERA AND CUTLASS CRUISER WITH THE 2.5L L4 ENGINE

This bulletin revises the torque specifications that are in Service Manual Section 6E2-C2. The torque specifications that are being revised are the TBI unit's fuel inlet and outlet nuts (Items 90 and 96, Figure C2-8, Page 6E2-C2-8) and the fuel feed and return line nuts that install into the fuel inlet and outlet nuts.

Please mark-up these specification changes in your copy of the 1989 Cutlass Ciera and Cutlass Cruiser Service Manual.

Revised specification - TBI units' Fuel Inlet and Outlet Nuts. 41 N.m (30 lbs. ft.). Page affected, 6E2- C2-12, (lower right of page).

Revised specification - Fuel Feed and Return Line Nuts. 27 N.m (20 lbs. ft.). Pages affected, 6E2-C2- 6, 6E2-C2-10 and 6E2-C2-12, (lower right of page).
