MODELS/YEARS 1985 CALAIS

A limited number of 1985 Oldsmobile Calais F27 style cars were built with the "Calais 500" WL9 option. The WL9 option includes the following items:

EXTERIOR

Special two-tone paint featuring a NEW 1986 Flame Red Metallic. The Major upper color is No. 74 (WA No. 8748). The lower color is 1985 Platinum Metallic No. 13 (WA No. 7781) and is utilized below the bumpers and wide body side moldings.

Aero rocker and door moldings

Rear deck lid spoiler

Black patch left hand and right hand mirrors (left hand remote)

Black fixed mast antenna

Black bumper, wide bodyside moldings, wheel opening moldings, grille and headlamp doors, door handies and lock cylinders

Special 14" aluminum wheel*

P215/6oR14 blackwall tires (QPU)*

Firm ride and handling suspension (F41)

Special "Calais 500" identification - doors, sail panel, and lay-down hood cloisonne emblem

Special pace car decal package for dealer installation

*The use of tire chains is not recommended with the WL9 package due to insufficient clearance with the special wheels and tires.

Doors and seats have silver leather inserts with carmine vinyl accents

Rear seat with intergrated headrests and fold-down armrest

Additional lateral support front seat design

Indy 500 logo on console and floor mats

Rallye instrument cluster (U21)

Leather wrapped steering wheel (NP5)
