1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
2. Turn the panel dimmer switch to full intensity.
3. Backprobe the right IP wiring harness junction block with a test lamp between the 8 circuit terminal of the inoperative lamp and ground. Refer to Interior Lights Schematics .

Does the test lamp light?

1. Disconnect the inoperative lamp connector.
2. Connect a test lamp between the CKT 8 terminal of the inoperative lamp connector and ground.

Replace the right IP wiring harness junction block. Refer to Relay/Fuse Center Replacement in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Connect a test lamp between the CKT 8 terminal of the inoperative lamp connector and the ground terminal of the inoperative lamp connector.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 8 between the right IP wiring harness junction block and the inoperative lamp. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Interior Lights Dimming System Check

Replace the inoperative lamp.

Replace the open in the ground circuit between the inoperative lamp and the ground splice pack. Refer to the schematic. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
