  1. Disconnect connector C1 of the Body Control Module (BCM). Refer to the following procedures:
  2. •  Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage in CKT 341 between terminal B8 of BCM connector C1 and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 3

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage in CKT 1600 between terminal A8 of BCM harness connector C1 and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 4

  1. Disconnect connector C2 of the BCM. Refer to the following procedures:
  2. •  Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage in CKT 439 between terminal B9 of BCM connector C2 and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

B+

  1. Disconnect connector C3 of the BCM Refer to the following procedures:

  3. Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage in CKT 4 340 between terminal A12 of BCM connector C3 and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

B+

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage in CKT 1540 between terminal B1 of BCM connector C3 and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

B+

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage between CKT 340 terminal A12 of BCM harness connector C3 and CKT 451 terminal B10 of BCM harness connector C3.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to measure the voltage between CKT 340 terminal A12 of BCM harness connector C3 and CKT 451 terminal A10 of BCM harness connector C3.

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe and measure the voltage in CKT 341 between terminal C4 of right IP junction block connector C1and ground.

Repair the open in CKT 341 between terminal C4 of right IP junction block connector C1 and terminal B8 of BFC connector C1. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe and measure the voltage in CKT 1600 between terminal C9 of left IP junction block connector C1and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

Repair the open in CKT 1600 between terminal C9 of left IP BEC connector C1 and terminal A8 of BCM connector C1. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe and measure the voltage in CKT 439 between terminal C4 of underhood junction block connector C3 and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

B+

Repair the open in CKT 439 between terminal C4 of underhood junction block connector C3 and terminal B9 of BCM connector C2. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe and measure the voltage in CKT 340 between terminal A2 of right IP junction block connector C1and ground.

Does the voltage measure to the specified value?

Repair the open in CKT 340 between terminal A2 of right IP junction block connector C1 and terminal A12 of BCM connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Use the J 39200 DMM in order to backprobe and measure the voltage in CKT 1540 between terminal E7 of left IP junction block connector C1and ground.

Repair the open in CKT 1540 between terminal E7 of left IP junction block connector C1 and terminal B1 of BCM connector C3. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 451 between terminal B10 of BCM connector C3 and ground splice pack G102. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
