  1. Remove the oil filter adapter bolt.
  2. Remove the oil filter adapter.

    3. Object Number: 187015 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil filter bypass hole plug.

    4. Important: Do not remove the oil filter fitting unless replacement or repair is needed.

  4. Remove the oil filter fitting, if necessary.
  5. Remove the oil filter bypass valve.
