CONDITION
Some 1983 Oldsmobiles equipped with a diesel engine and cruise control may experience loss of speed on an incline with the cruise control engaged, as well as a delay in the cruise control resume response. This condition may be caused by a slow reacting cruise control servo.
CORRECTION
This condition may be corrected by installing a new servo. Do Not use servos with build date codes between 2132 and 0033. The build date code is stamped on the servo rover.
A new design smo will be used in production to correct this condition.
