Power Door Locks Inoperative - One Motor Left Front

Did you perform the Power Door Locks System Check?

  1. Use a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) in order to backprobe the inoperative left front door lock actuator connector between terminal A and ground.
  2. Press the left front door lock switch to the UNLOCK position.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 4

Repair an open in CKT 694 (TAN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Use the DMM in order to backprobe the inoperative left front door lock actuator between the connector terminal B and ground.
  2. Press the left front door lock switch to the LOCK position.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 6

Repair an open in CKT 295 (GRY). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the inoperative left front door lock actuator. Refer to Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
