Press the Brake Pedal.

Do the Stoplamps light?

Go to Step 2

Go to Step 3

Set the turn signal switch to the Left turn position.

Does the left front turn lamp flash?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Refer to Left Rear Stoplamp is Inoperative.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

1. Keep the turn signal switch in the Left turn position.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the Turn and Hazard Flasher.
3. Connect a J 39200 between terminal 7 in the turn and hazard flasher harness connector and the chassis ground.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the Turn and Hazard Flasher.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

1. Keep the J 39200 connected.
2. Disconnect the harness connector C1 from the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch.
3. Remove the chassis ground connection from the J 39200 .
4. Connect the chassis ground connection to terminal 6 in the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch harness connector.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Replace the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch.

Is the repair complete?

--

System OK

--

Repair the open in CKT 132 (BLU/BLK) between the Turn Signal and Hazard Switch and the Turn and Hazard Flasher.

Is the repair complete?

System OK
