Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 747617 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Disconnect the inflator air switch harness from the air compressor.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
  4. Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side or to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
  5. For the Envoy XUV only, remove the trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  6. Remove the inflator air switch from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 747617 Size: SH
  1. Install the inflator air switch to the vehicle.
  2. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side or to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side in Interior Trim.
  3. For the Envoy XUV only, install the trim panel. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Raise the vehicle.
  5. Connect the inflator air switch harness to the air compressor.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
