Removal Procedure
- Remove the body side emblem (1) from the body side (2).
- Remove any remaining adhesive from the body side (2).
Important: Protect the paint and body work with tape or a clean cloth. Failure to do so may result in damage to the paint work.
Important: Apply heat to the body side emblem (1) using a suitable heat gun to reduce the adhesion to the body side (2).
Important: Using a suitable tool, carefully prise the body side emblem (1) from the body side (2). Take care not to damage the paint work.
Important: Clean the surface with a suitable cleaning solution and a lint free cloth to remove any remaining adhesive from the body side (2).
Installation Procedure
- Apply NEW HN2021 or equivalent polyethylene double sided tape (2) to the back of the body side emblem (1).
- Trim back the HN2021 or equivalent polyethylene double sided tape (2) to the inner edge of the body side emblem (1).
- Peel the backing from the HN2021 or equivalent polyethylene double sided tape (2).
- Apply the body side emblem (1) to the body side (2). Refer to Graphics/Decals/Emblems for measurement specifications.
Important: The broken line (2) represents the HN2021 or equivalent polyethylene double sided tape. The image should only be used for reference.
Important: If reusing the body side emblem (1), clean the body side emblem (1) with a suitable cleaning solution using a lint free cloth.
Important: Do not allow the HN2021 or equivalent polyethylene double sided tape (2) to come in contact with any dirt or foreign matter.
Important: Firmly press the body side emblem (1) for 30 seconds to ensure correct adhesion.
