Removal Procedure
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
- Insert a suitable tool under the puddle lamp housing (1) and release the locking tab (2) of the lamp.
- Pry the lamp assembly from the mirror and pivot and lower the assembly.
- Bend back the lever contact that holds the bulb and remove the bulb from the lamp housing.
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.
Installation Procedure
- Install the new bulb to the puddle lamp assembly.
- Feed the lamp wiring into the cavity and push the lamp back into the door mirror housing.
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
- Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.
