For 1990-2009 cars only
- Clean the area with epoxy manufacturer's recommended solvent and air dry.
- Mix sufficient amount of epoxy adhesive ('Araldite'™ or an equivalent product), following the manufacturer's recommendations.
- While the transmission case is hot, apply epoxy adhesive with a clean, dry stiff brush.
- Allow the adhesive to dry for the recommended time before starting the engine and checking the results of the repair.
- Repeat the fluid leak diagnosis previously detailed.
