Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1795228 Size: SH
  1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the flexible air intake duct from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor assembly.

    2. Object Number: 1795234 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air intake duct from the throttle body assembly.
  3. Unclip the clip and disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the air intake duct.
  4. Remove the air intake duct assembly.

    5. Object Number: 1795237 Size: SH
  5. Remove the fuel injector sight shield attaching bolts and nuts.
  6. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1795237 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel injector sight shield.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel injector sight shield attaching bolts and nuts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  2. Install the air intake duct assembly.
  3. Tighten the loosened clamps.
