Torque Converter (1) | Verify that the noise is internal to the torque converter by placing your left foot on the brake with the gear or selector in Drive. |
Oil Pump System | Pump whine noise, which is usually noticeable in Park, Neutral, and all other gear ranges. Pump whine will vary with line pressure. |
