Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Support the rear axle at curb height.

    3. Object Number: 793283 Size: SH
  3. Remove the stabilizer shaft link nut and bolt from the frame bracket.
  4. Remove the stabilizer shaft link nut from the ball stud.
  5. Remove the stabilizer shaft link.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 793283 Size: SH
  1. Install the stabilizer shaft link.

    2. Object Number: 613612 Size: SH

    Note: When tightening the lower link nut verify that the inner nut bottoms out on the ball stud.

  2. Install the stabilizer shaft link nut to the ball stud.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 793283 Size: SH
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft link nut and the bolt to the frame bracket and tighten the nut to 65 N·m rotate an additional 40° (48 lb ft rotate an additional 40°) .
  4. Install the stabilizer link ball stud and the to the stabilizer shaft and tighten the nut to 65 N·m rotate an additional 40° (48 lb ft rotate an additional 40°) .
  5. Remove the rear axle support.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
