Makes 🢒 HUMMER 🢒 2009 🢒 H2 🢒 Suspension 🢒 Air Suspension 🢒 Rear Axle Upper Control Arm Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the air suspension level sensor, if equipped. Refer to Air Spring Leveling Sensor Replacement.
  3. Support the rear axle at the ride height.

    4. Object Number: 793292 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the frame bracket.

    5. Object Number: 793291 Size: SH
  5. Remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the axle bracket.
  6. Remove the upper control arm.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the upper control arm.

    2. Object Number: 793291 Size: SH
  2. Install the upper control arm retaining bolt and nut to the axle bracket.

    3. Object Number: 793292 Size: SH
  3. Install the upper control arm retaining bolt to the frame bracket.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

    Note: Do not tighten the nuts unless the suspension is at the curb height position.

  4. Install and the upper control arm to axle bolt and tighten nut to 100 N·m plus an additional 55° (74 lb ft plus an additional 55°).

    5. Note: Do not tighten the bolts unless the suspension is at the curb height position.

  5. Install the upper control arm to frame bolt and tighten to 100 N·m plus an additional 55° (74 lb ft plus an additional 55°).
  6. Connect the air suspension level sensor, if equipped. Refer to Air Spring Leveling Sensor Replacement.
  7. Remove rear axle support.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
