Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 816340 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel top cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

    2. Object Number: 815925 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the ambient light sensor on the underside of the I/P upper trim panel.

    3. Object Number: 816338 Size: SH
  3. Turn the ambient light sensor ¼ turn and remove it from the I/P top cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 816338 Size: SH
  1. Install the ambient light sensor to the underside of the I/P top cover, turning it ¼ turn to secure it in place.

    2. Object Number: 815925 Size: SH
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the ambient light sensor on the underside of the I/P top trim panel.

    3. Object Number: 816340 Size: SH
  3. Install the I/P panel top cover to the I/P . Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
