Rocker Panel Molding Replacement Base

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the doors.

    2. Object Number: 826353 Size: SH
  2. Remove the front wheel flare. Refer to Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear wheel flare. Refer to Rear Wheel Opening Flare Replacement .
  4. Remove the push-pins from the underside of the vehicle.
  5. Pull the molding away from the vehicle with sufficient pressure to disengage the retaining clips from the body.
  6. Remove the rocker panel molding from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 826353 Size: SH
  1. Install the rocker panel molding to the vehicle.
  2. Push the molding toward the vehicle with sufficient pressure to engage the retaining clips into the body.
  3. Install the push-pins to the underside of the vehicle.
  4. Install the rear wheel flare. Refer to Rear Wheel Opening Flare Replacement .
  5. Install the front wheel flare. Refer to Front Wheel Opening Flare Replacement .
  6. Close the doors.

Preliminary Procedure

Open both doors on the side of the vehicle the lower rocker molding is being installed on.

Rocker Molding Push Pin

Tip
Install the push pin after all of the clips have been secured to the body.

Lower Rocker Molding

Tip
Align molding clips to the holes in the rocker and press the molding onto the vehicle.
