Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
  1. Install scan tool or use PC based software.
  2. Engine idling, observe the scan tool diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information.
  3. Select clear DTC function.
  4. Clear DTC’s.
  5. Ignition OFF for 20 seconds.
  6. Engine idling, observe the scan tool DTC information. Verify no DTCs reset.
    7. ⇒If any DTCs reset, Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check--Performance Engine, or Powertrain On Board Diagnostic (OBD) System Check--Ram Jet Engine, for further diagnosis.
