    Notice: Never attempt to remove the intake manifold from a hot engine, allow the engine to cool to ambient temperature. The intake manifold is made of a composite plastic and can be damaged if it is removed when the engine is hot.

  1. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator hose from the throttle body and the fuel rail.

  2. Object Number: 412128  Size: SH
  3. Remove the throttle body.

  4. Object Number: 412131  Size: SH
  5. Remove fuel pipes and clip. Remove the fuel rail assembly.

  6. Object Number: 630348  Size: SH
  7. Remove the knock sensor connector from the intake manifold.

  8. Object Number: 412135  Size: SH
  9. Remove the intake manifold retaining nuts and bolts.
  10. Remove the intake manifold.
  11. Remove the intake manifold gasket (if necessary). The gasket is reusable if it is not damaged.
  12. If the intake manifold needs to be replaced, transfer the following parts:
  13. • The throttle body
    • The throttle body gasket
    • The manifold to the throttle body gasket is reusable if it is not damaged.
