If the piston does not come out, use needle-nose pliers in order to remove the piston.
7.1. | Shake the piston in order to determine if the check ball is free. |
7.2. | Apply low-pressure compressed air in order to determine if the valve leaks. |
9.1. | Slide the rings over the top of the shaft drum (2). |
9.2. | Install the rings into the groove. |
9.3. | Do not spread the ring ends. |
Important: Do not damage the O-ring during piston installation.
Verify that the cup side of the piston faces upward.

Verify that the end gap on the snap ring is not aligned with the spring retainer claw.
Important: Install the plates and the discs in order.

Install the flange with the flat end facing downward.
Verify that the end gap of the snap ring is not aligned with any of the cutouts.
