Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 398764 Size: SH
  1. Loosen the clamp and separate the air cleaner inlet elbow (3) (from the turbocharger (2) and the air cleaner assembly (1).

    2. Object Number: 398767 Size: SH
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1) by lifting straight up (air cleaner assembly is mounting by studs and grommets).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 398782 Size: SH
  1. Transfer the air cleaner element if necessary.
  2. Install the air cleaner assembly (1) by pushing straight down into the mount base (2).

    3. Object Number: 398791 Size: SH
  3. Install the air cleaner inlet elbow (1) to the turbocharger (2) and tighten the clamp.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the inlet elbow clamp to 4 N·m (40 lb in).
