Tools Required

    • J 23327-1 Clutch Spring Compressor
    • J 35683 First/Reverse Clutch Spring Compressor Adapter

  1. UseJ 23327-1 with J 35683 in order to compress the return springs.
  2. Remove the spring retainer snap ring.
  3. Remove the spring retainers.
  4. Remove the springs.

    5. Object Number: 163641 Size: SH
  5. Remove the piston with compressed air.
  6. Remove the O-rings from the piston.
  7. Inspect the sealing surfaces for burrs or imperfections.
  8. Repair or replace the piston if necessary.
