    Object Number: 1351825 Size: SH
  1. Install the thermostat (312) with the seal into the engine coolant crossover (308).
  2. Install the thermostat housing (311).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the water outlet bolts (310). Tighten the bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

    4. Object Number: 470699 Size: SH
  4. Place the engine coolant crossover gaskets and the engine coolant crossover in position.
  5. Install the engine coolant crossover bolts. Tighten the engine coolant crossover bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

    6. Object Number: 470694 Size: SH
  6. Install the thermostat bypass hose clamps onto the thermostat bypass hose.
  7. Install the thermostat bypass hose.

    8. Note: Properly position the thermostat bypass hose clamps to avoid water pump pulley interference.

  8. Position the thermostat bypass hose clamps.
