Removal Procedure
- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
- Support the engine and transmission.
- Remove the left tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Remove the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
- Remove the front transmission mount to frame bolt (1).
- Remove the rear transmission mount to rear transmission mount bracket bolt (1).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove the left transmission mount to transmission bolts (1).
- Remove the left transmission mount to frame rail bolts (1).
- Lower the transmission enough to provide clearance for the left transmission mount.
- Remove the left transmission mount (2).
Installation Procedure
- Install the left transmission mount (2).
- Install the left transmission mount to frame rail bolts (1) and tighten to 90 N·m (66 lb ft) .
- Raise the transmission until the transmission contacts the left transmission mount.
- Install the left transmission mount to transmission bolts (1) and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft) .
- Raise the vehicle.
- Install the rear transmission mount to rear transmission mount bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 110 N·m (81 lb ft) .
- Install the front transmission mount to frame bolt (1) and tighten to 110 N·m (81 lb ft) .
- Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the left tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Remove the engine and transmission support.
- Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
