Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
- Remove the steering column cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement.
- Set the ignition key to ON position.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Remove the ignition switch retaining screws.
Installation Procedure
- Install the ignition switch retaining screws and tighten to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
- Connect the electrical connector.
- Install the steering column cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
