Preliminary Procedure

•	Using the J 35512 and an arbor press, remove the bearing assemblies from the drive sprocket.

•	Ensure the bearings are installed squarely into the drive sprocket bore.

•	Install the bearings from the top with the clutch teeth facing down.

Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Drive Sprocket Bearing Assembly - Front

Tip

•	Install the bearing using the long side of the DT-48211 .

•	Ensure the flat edge of the bearing is facing upward.

•	Using an arbor press or hammer, install the bearing until the tool bottoms on the drive sprocket.

•	J 8092 Driver Handle

•	J 35512 Inner Pinion Bearing Installer

Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Drive Sprocket Bearing Assembly - Rear

Tip

•	Install the bearing using the short side of the DT-48211 .

•	Ensure the flat edge of the bearing is facing upward.

•	Using an arbor press or hammer, install the bearing until the tool bottoms on the drive sprocket.
