6 | While pushing down and lifting up each corner of the vehicle, observe the resistance on the compression stroke and the resistance on the rebound stroke of the shock absorber. 7 | Test the shock absorber on a similar model with properly functioning shock absorbers. Ensure the suspension RPO code on the similar model is the same as on the customer's vehicle.
