This vehicle is equipped with the Electro-Motor Cruise
System. This system is designed to automatically maintain a desired vehicle
speed under normal driving conditions. The system has six modes:
The cruise control system consists of the following components:
• | The multifunction lever |
• | The brake release switch |
The controller responds to signals from the multifunction switch,
located on the turn signal lever.
The cruise control module contains a low speed limit that prevents the
system from engaging at speeds lower than about 40 km/h (25 mph).
When the brake pedal is depressed, a release switch, mounted to the
brake pedal bracket, disengages the system. The throttle then returns to the
idle position.
