This vehicle is equipped with the Electro-Motor Cruise System. This system is designed to automatically maintain a desired vehicle speed under normal driving conditions. The system has six modes:

Object Number: 276101 Size: SH
    • CRUISE
    • COAST
    • RESUME SPEED
    • ACCELERATE
    • TAP UP
    • TAP DOWN

The cruise control system consists of the following components:

    • The multifunction lever
    • The brake release switch

The controller responds to signals from the multifunction switch, located on the turn signal lever.

The cruise control module contains a low speed limit that prevents the system from engaging at speeds lower than about 40 km/h (25 mph).

When the brake pedal is depressed, a release switch, mounted to the brake pedal bracket, disengages the system. The throttle then returns to the idle position.
