    Object Number: 1961780 Size: SH

Important: There should be no need to rotate the camshafts (1) more than 10 degrees. Using the hex cast into the camshaft (1) rotate the camshaft (1) in order to install the EN 46105  (2).

  1. Install the EN 46105  (2) onto the rear of the left camshafts (1).
  2. Important: All camshafts (1) must be locked in place before installation of any camshaft drive chains.

  3. Make sure that the EN 46105  (2) is fully seated onto the camshafts (1).
  4. Make sure that the crankshaft is in the stage one timing drive assembly position using the EN 46111 . Refer to Camshaft Timing Drive Chain Alignment Diagram Stage One.

  5. Object Number: 1958828 Size: SH
  6. Install the left secondary camshaft drive chain (1).

  7. Object Number: 1961691 Size: SH
  8. Place the left secondary camshaft drive chain around the inner sprocket of the left camshaft intermediate drive chain idler with the timing camshaft drive chain link (1) aligned to the alignment access hole (2) made in the left camshaft intermediate drive chain idler outer sprocket.
  9. Wrap the secondary camshaft drive chain around both left actuator drive sprockets.
  10. Make sure there are 10 links between the timing camshaft drive chain links for the camshaft position actuator solenoid sprockets.

  11. Object Number: 1961692 Size: SH
  12. Align the left exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid sprocket alignment circle mark (4) with the timing camshaft drive chain link (3).
  13. Align the left intake camshaft position actuator solenoid sprocket alignment circle mark (1) with the timing camshaft drive chain link (2).
  14. There will be 22 links between the left camshaft intermediate drive chain idler timing camshaft drive chain link and the left intake camshaft position actuator solenoid sprocket timing camshaft drive chain link.
