Camshaft Cover Removal - Left Side LLT


    Object Number: 1977859 Size: SH
  1. Remove the ignition coil bolts.

    2. Object Number: 1977863 Size: SH
  2. Remove the ignition coils.

    3. Object Number: 1977868 Size: SH
  3. Remove the left camshaft cover bolts.
  4. Remove and discard the camshaft cover grommets and camshaft cover bolts if they are serviced with the grommet.

    5. Object Number: 1977870 Size: SH
  5. Remove the left camshaft cover from the left cylinder head.

    Object Number: 1958000 Size: SH
  1. Remove the ignition coil to camshaft cover retaining bolts (1).
  2. Remove the ignition coils (2) from the camshaft cover (3).

    3. Object Number: 1958116 Size: SH
  3. Remove the spark plugs (1).

    4. Object Number: 1957993 Size: SH
  4. Remove the camshaft cover to cylinder head retaining bolts (1).
  5. Remove the camshaft cover (2) from the cylinder head (3).

    6. Important: The camshaft cover seal and grommets must be discarded whenever the camshaft cover has been removed from the cylinder head (2).

  6. Remove the camshaft cover seal and grommets.

    7. Discard the seal and grommets
