Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

1. Ignition ON, engine OFF.
2. Low beam headlamps ON.
3. Front fog lamps ON.
4. Observe the front fog lamp indicator.
5. Front fog lamps ON and OFF.

Did the front fog lamp indicator operate correctly?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

Did the fog lamps operate correctly?

Go to Step 4

Go to Fog Lamps Always On

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the instrument panel cluster (IPC). Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs.

Did you find and correct the condition?

System OK

Replace the IPC. Refer to Control Module References, for replacement, setup, and programming.
