Removal Procedure
  1. Remove instrument panel compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2027818 Size: SH
  2. Remove instrument panel wiring harness (2) from instrument panel tie bar (1).

    3. Disconnect electrical connectors.


    Object Number: 2027821 Size: SH
  3. Remove instrument panel tie bar (2).

    4. Remove 4 instrument panel tie bar bolts (3, 4).

    Remove 2 instrument panel tie bar nuts (1).

  4. Remove heater wiring harness.

    5. Object Number: 2027861 Size: SH
  5. Remove the floor air outlet (2).

    6. Remove the 6 floor air outlet bolts (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2027861 Size: SH

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Install the floor air outlet (2).

    2. Install the 6 floor air outlet bolts (1) and tighten to  XX N·m (XX lb in).

  2. Install heater wiring harness.

    3. Object Number: 2027821 Size: SH
  3. Install instrument panel tie bar (2).

    4. Install 4  instrument panel tie bar bolts (3, 4) and tighten to  XX N·m (XX lb in).

    Install 2 instrument panel tie bar nuts (1) and tighten to  XX N·m (XX lb in).

  4. Attach instrument panel wiring harness (2) to instrument panel tie bar (1).

    5. Connect electrical connectors.

  5. Install instrument panel compartment assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
