🢒 Engine Front Cover with Oil Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure
Open the hood.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Remove the air conditioning compressor. Refer to
Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement
.
Remove the generator. Refer to
Generator Replacement
.
Remove the timing belt rear cover. Refer to
Timing Belt Rear Cover Replacement
.
Remove the oil pan. Refer to
Oil Pan Replacement
.
Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water pump. Refer to
Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement
.
Remove the engine oil cooler inlet pipe bolt (4).
Push the engine oil cooler inlet pipe (1) into the engine oil cooler housing (2).
Remove the engine oil cooler outlet pipe bolts (5).
Push the engine oil cooler outlet pipe (3) into the engine oil cooler housing (2).
Remove the 8 engine front cover bolts (2, 3).
Remove the engine front cover (4).
Remove the engine front cover seal (1).
Installation Procedure
Clean sealing surface.
Install a NEW engine front cover seal (1).
Install the engine front cover (4).
Install the 8 engine front cover bolts (2, 3) and tighten to
20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Push the engine oil cooler outlet pipe (3) to the water pump (6).
Install the engine oil cooler outlet pipe bolts (5) and tighten to
8 N·m (71 lb in)
.
Push the engine oil cooler inlet pipe (1) into the water pump (6).
Install the engine oil cooler inlet pipe bolt (4) and tighten to
8 N·m (71 lb in)
.
Install the radiator outlet hose to the water pump. Refer to
Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement
.
Install the oil pan. Refer to
Oil Pan Replacement
.
Install the timing belt rear cover. Refer to
Timing Belt Rear Cover Replacement
.
Install the generator. Refer to
Generator Replacement
.
Install the air conditioning compressor. Refer to
Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement
.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to
Cooling System Draining and Filling
.
Close the hood.
