1. Disconnect the battery negative cable Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection



2. Clip the fuel tank vent pipe (3) out of the brake, fuel feed and fuel clip (2).
3. Remove the fuel tank vent pipe (3) from the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (1).



4. Remove the exhaust pipe front hanger bolts (2).
5. Remove the frame rear bolt (3)
6. Remove the frame reinforcements.



7. Unclip the fuel return pipe (1) from the 4 bracket clips (2).



8. Unclip the fuel return pipe (3) from the rear bracket clip (2).
9. Disconnect the fuel return pipe (3) from the fuel return pipe connector (1).
10. Remove the fuel return pipe (3).

1. Install the fuel return pipe (3).
2. Connect the fuel return pipe (3) to the fuel return pipe connector (1).
3. Clip in the fuel return pipe (3) to the rear bracket clip (2).



4. Clip in the fuel return pipe (1) to the 4 bracket clips (2).



5. Install the frame reinforcements.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

6. Install the NEW frame rear bolts (3) and tighten to  90 N·m (67 lb ft) +130°.
7. Install the 4  exhaust pipe front hanger bolts (2) and tighten to  20N·m (15 lb ft).



8. Install the fuel tank vent pipe (3) to the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (1).
9. Clip the fuel tank vent pipe (3) into the brake, fuel feed and fuel clip (2).
10. Connect the battery negative cable Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
