    • EN-47518 Valve Spring Compressor
    • EN-48247 Valve Spring Compression Adapter
    • EN-4616 Valve Stem Seal Remover/Installer

    Object Number: 1822633 Size: SH
  1. Install the EN-47518 compressor  (1) with EN-48247 adapter  (2) to remove the valve assembly.

    2. Object Number: 2028022 Size: SH
  2. Remove the 32 valve stem keys (1).
  3. Remove the 16 valve spring retainers (2).
  4. Remove the 16 valve springs (3).

    5. Object Number: 2028130 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 16 valve stem oil seals (4) use the EN-4616 remover .

    6. Warning: Compressed valve springs have high tension against the valve spring compressor. Valve springs that are not properly compressed by or released from the valve spring compressor can be ejected from the valve spring compressor with intense force. Use care when compressing or releasing the valve spring with the valve spring compressor and when removing or installing the valve stem keys. Failing to use care may cause personal injury.

    Note: Take extreme care to prevent damage to the valve guides.

  6. Remove the 16 valves (5).
