Removal Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1265667 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the brake line fitting nut from the brake hose support bracket on the wheel housing on each side of the vehicle.
    3. • Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding
    • Check the brake system for leaks.

  3. Remove both brake hose E-ring retainers.
  4. Remove the brake hose from the brackets.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1265668 Size: SH
  1. Install the brake hoses in the brackets.
  2. Install the brake hose E-ring retainer.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Connect the brake line fitting nuts to the brake hoses at the body and rear axle brackets.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).
