Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1280902 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) lower cover.

    2. Object Number: 1282127 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the 2 pin connector from the immobilizer (1).

    3. Object Number: 1282128 Size: SH
  3. Pry the detection coil away from the lock cylinder. If the detection coil will be replaced with a new one, it does not matter if the key position trim ring is damaged during removal of the old one. A new trim ring is part of the new detection coil.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1280902 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P lower cover.

    2. Object Number: 1282127 Size: SH
  2. Connect the 2 pin connector to the immobilizer (1)

    3. Object Number: 1282128 Size: SH
  3. Install the detection coil to the lock cylinder.
