Removal Procedure

    Important: When replacing the auxiliary video module with a new component, you must also replace the video screen display module. These components are required to be replaced with one another.

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

  2. Object Number: 407241  Size: SH
  3. Carefully release the locking tabs using a flat-bladed tool in the locations as indicated.
  4. Remove the auxiliary video module from the overhead entertainment console.

  5. Object Number: 407244  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the auxiliary video module.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 407244  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the auxiliary video module.
  2. Install the auxiliary video module to the overhead entertainment console.
  3. Press the auxiliary video module until it locks into place.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
