- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Use a test lamp in order to test the voltage between the radio
harness connector C1 terminal 7 and ground.
- Turn on the headlamps.
- Vary the IP lamp dimmer switch setting while observing the test
lamp.

- Use a test lamp in order to backprobe between the headlamp switch
terminal G and ground.
- Turn the headlamp switch to the ON position.
- Vary the IP lamp dimmer switch while observing the test lamp.
