Did you review the Headlights/Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Circuit Description and perform the necessary inspections?

Go to Step 2

Verify that both Headlamps are inoperative.

Do the Headlamps operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the Turn Signal/Headlamp Switch connector.
  2. Turn the Headlamp Switch to the HEAD position.
  3. Test for an open circuit between C216,cavity 9 and the DRL cavity 1.

Does an open condition exist?

Go to Step 4

Repair the open circuit from C216,cavity 9 to the DRL Control Module cavity 1. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Test for an open condition in the power circuit from C1,cavity 2 and 3 of the Fuse Block to S235 and S236.

Does an open in the power circuit exist?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in the circuit from the Fuse Block to the Headlamp Assemblies. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Replace the Turn Signal/Headlamp Switch. Refer to Headlamp Switch Replacement .

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 8

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Did you correct the condition?
