Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 488180  Size: SH
  1. Gently pry and remove the rear seat hinge support cover (2) from the rear seat hinge support (1).

  2. Object Number: 488202  Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear seat stopper rod nut (1) from the rear seat hinge support pin (4).
  4. Remove the support pin (4) from the rear seat support (2).
  5. Remove the 2 bolts (3) which secure the rear seat support (2).
  6. Remove the support (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 488202  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear seat support (2) to the vehicle. Secure the support with 2 bolts (3).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the rear seat support bolts to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).

  3. Secure the rear seat cushion (5) to the support (2) with the rear seat hinge support pin (4).
  4. Install the rear seat stopper rod nut (1) to the support pin (4).

  6. Install the rear seat hinge support cover (2) to the support (1).
