Removal Procedure
- Preheat the emblem to a temperature of 29°C to 32°C (80°F
to 90°F).
- Peel the emblem from the body area.
- Clean any remaining adhesive from the area using a suitable cleaner.
Installation Procedure
Notice: These items should be applied in an environment free of dust or dirt
that could come in contact with the adhesive backing and prevent proper adhesion.
- Clean the area where the emblem is to be mounted. Use a suitable solvent
such as flash naphtha or a mixture of 50 percent isopropyl/alcohol and 50
percent water.
- Dry the area thoroughly.
- Heat the body area to a temperature range of 27C° to 41°C
(80°F to 105°F).
- Carefully heat the emblem to a temperature range of 29°C
to 32°C (80°F to 90°F).
- Remove the protective liner.
Notice: Certain emblems can be clamped to the body at the center of the emblem.
Place a piece of foam between the clamp and the emblem to protect it.
- Firmly press the emblem to the area.
