Voltage is hot at all times to the radio from the Radio fuse 19 through CKT (1140) ORN. CKT (1140) ORN provides voltage at all times for radio station memory storage and for maintaining clock memory. When the ignition is placed in the ACC or RUN position, voltage is provided to the radio through CKT (43) YEL for radio operation. Ground is provided through CKT (150) BLK to the IP ground G200. The coaxial antenna cable must also be attached to the back of the radio to complete the ground path for radio operation. When the ignition is placed in the ACC or RUN position and the headlamp and panel dimmer switch is in the OFF position, the radio will be at maximum intensity. When the headlamp and panel dimmer switch is placed in the HEAD or PARK position the radio intensity can be adjusted with the headlamp and panel dimmer switch through CKT (8) GRY.

The power amplifier relay pass through voltage is provided from the CIG LTR fuse through CKT (640) ORN. When the radio is turned on, voltage is provided to the power amplifier relay from the radio through CKT (314) PNK. The power amplifier coil relay contacts will close, grounding the relay through CKT (150) BLK to G202 and energize the power amplifier through CKT (360) ORN. The amplifier is also grounded though CKT (150) BLK to G202.
