Did you perform the Rear Wiper/Washer System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Wiper/Washer Rear System Check

1. Disconnect the rear window wiper/washer switch.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
3. Connect a test lamp between cavity A and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Connect the rear window wiper/washer switch.
2. Disconnect the rear window wiper/washer motor module.
3. Connect a test lamp from cavity B and ground.
4. Place the rear window wiper/washer switch to the ON position.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 393 (WHT) between the IP fuse block and the rear window wiper/washer switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Are the rear wipers still inoperative?

--

Go to Step 5

System OK

Connect a test lamp between rear window wiper/washer module connector cavity A and B+.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

1. Check for an open in CKT 391 (GRY) between the rear window wiper/washer module and the rear window wiper/washer switch. Make the necessary repairs. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
2. If the circuit is OK, replace the rear window wiper/washer switch.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Wiper/Washer Rear System Check

Replace the rear window wiper/washer module. Refer to Rear Window Wiper Motor Replacement

Is the repair complete?

Go to Wiper/Washer Rear System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the module and ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
